Fire Island is accessible by ferry only. You can park at the ferry terminal, take the LIRR, or Uber from JFK, LGA, or ISP airport. Take the ferry from Bay Shore to Ocean Bay Park. The ferry ride is about 25 minutes. There are no cars on Fire Island
You can walk, bike or take water taxis from town to town!

There is parking available at the ferry terminal.
BY TRAIN (LIRR)
Take the LIRR to Bay Shore. From the station, take Dave’s bus (2-minute ride, accepts cash or Venmo) or Uber to the ferry terminal.
BY FLYING IN
Uber from the airport to the ferry terminal:
ISP (Long Island MacArthur) — ~15 minutes
JFK — ~45 minutes to 1 hour
LGA — ~1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes

Approximately $10 per ride. Purchase on the app or at www.fimtickets.com. Tickets are not booked for a specific time — you can use your ticket on any ferry at any time.
